Welcome to the Biology Program
UBC's Biology Program is the undergraduate teaching program of the Departments of Botany and Zoology. Options include one Major, eight Honours, and three Combined Honours options.
We hope and expect that during your undergraduate years you will acquire an appreciation for the living world and a set of essential skills and attitudes that form the basis for further education and serve you well in later life.

Applications for admission into the 3rd year Biology Program for the 2012W session are now open until May 31st! Please read the admission requirements before applying. To apply CLICK HERE! Results will be communicated by June 15th.

If you were a 2nd year Biology student during the 2011W session you do not need to apply for 3rd year admission unless you are planning on going into the Honours Program. You will be promoted to 3rd year Biology if you meet the Faculty of Science promotion requirements.
