Important Announcements:

  • New course BIOL 233 - Genetics for Life: Starting in September 2015, 2nd year students can fulfill their genetics requirement with either BIOL 234 (Fundamentals of Genetics) or a BIOL 233 (Genetics for Life).  Both courses have the same prerequisites and satisfy the same requirements.  BIOL 233 differs from BIOL 234 both in its greater emphasis on human genetic diversity and personal genomics, and in its delivery mode (face-to-face lectures are replaced by short online videos).  For more information click here.
